PinkyBond vs Flo for Partners: A Private Thread vs a Read-Only Card
Our verdict
Flo for Partners shows him a read-only card: her calendar and some tips. PinkyBond gives the couple their own end-to-end encrypted thread and calls, built on her cycle, with no account and no readable copy on any server. Flo Health paid $8 million in 2025 to settle a US class action over sharing user health data. It admits no wrongdoing.

Overview
Privacy and encryption
In 2021 the FTC alleged that Flo Health had shared users’ health data with third parties including Facebook and Google without consent; that order carried no fine. A related class action settled in September 2025, with Flo paying $8 million of a $56 million total and Google $48 million. Flo denies wrongdoing. Flo for Partners shares data through these same servers.
Data is encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM before transmission. Our Convex server stores only encrypted blobs it cannot decrypt.
The experience
Flo for Partners sniedz pamata pārskatu par viņas cikla fāzi ar ierobežotu interpretāciju. Nav žestu karšu, nav tilta ziņojumu, nav divvirzienu koplietošanas un nav reāllaika ieskatu.
PinkyBond tulko viņas cikla datus rīcībspējīgā kontekstā: kādā fāzē viņa atrodas, kā viņa varētu justies, kādi žesti ir piemēroti un AI sagatavoti tilta ziņojumi, kurus viņa var apstiprināt. Tas ir atšķirība starp datiem un izpratni.
