She displays a QR code in PinkyBloom. You scan it with PinkyBond. Then you display your QR code and she scans it. Both devices exchange encryption keys directly — no server is contacted. It takes about 60 seconds.

Do I need to create an account?

No. PinkyBond doesn’t require a phone number, email, or account. Pairing is done via QR code. Your identity is a cryptographic key, not a username.

They adapt to her life stage — comfort gestures during her luteal phase, practical help during pregnancy, recovery support postpartum, and patience-focused gestures during menopause. Bridge messages are AI-drafted messages that translate her state into emotional context. For example: “I’m feeling tired today and could use a quiet evening.” She reviews and approves every bridge message before you see it. She decides what to share.

When she’s in menopause mode, PinkyBond shows symptom trends (like hot flash frequency), wellness patterns, mood and energy levels, and menopause-specific gesture cards focused on temperature comfort, patience, and emotional support.

Is my partner’s data encrypted?

Yes. All data is encrypted on-device using AES-256-GCM with Curve25519 ECDH key exchange before transmission. Our server stores only encrypted blobs it cannot decrypt. We use Apple’s CryptoKit framework.

Can PinkyBond read my partner’s data?

No. We use a zero-knowledge architecture. Our server (the Blind Relay) passes encrypted data it cannot open. We never possess decryption keys.

What is Safety Mode?

Safety Mode is a feature in PinkyBloom that sends synthetic (fake) neutral data to PinkyBond. The partner sees normal-looking updates but the data is fabricated. Safety Mode is undetectable and can be toggled instantly. It exists to protect against intimate partner threats.

Yes. She can pause sharing (you’re not notified), activate Safety Mode (sends fake data), or revoke the pairing permanently with one tap.

Yes. Cancel through your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). No cancellation fees. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
