The encrypted bridge
Pairing happens face-to-face. Communication happens through encryption only your two phones can unlock.
Pairing without an account
Scan her QR code in person, or enter a 6-character code remotely. Only Curve25519 public keys travel; each phone derives the secret itself.
AES-256-GCM
Every message encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving either phone.
Blind relay
Our server passes sealed envelopes. It cannot read, decrypt, or interpret any content.
We never hold the key

On-device intelligence
Relationship insights are generated locally on both phones. No cloud processing. No server access. Both apps use on-device AI to understand your communication privately.
Her phone
PinkyBloom runs Apple Intelligence to analyze conversations, detect sentiment, and generate health-aware relationship insights. Nothing leaves her device.
Your phone
PinkyBond analyzes your side of the conversation on-device. Communication Weather, weekly reflections, and relationship temperature are all computed locally.
Independent analysis
Each app generates its own insights independently. Your reflections are yours. Hers are hers. The only shared data is what she explicitly approves.
Learning over time
The AI improves as you use it. Pattern recognition gets sharper, suggestions become more relevant, and insights become more personalized — all without sharing a byte.
Built to last
Your relationship data is too important to lose. PinkyBond uses versioned storage with automatic backups, so your data is safe even if something goes wrong.
Backup before every save
A backup copy is created before any write. If something fails, your previous data is intact.
Versioned storage
Data includes a version number. When the app updates, your data migrates automatically.
Corruption recovery
If a file is corrupted, the app falls back to the most recent backup automatically.
