Clue stores data on EU servers (GDPR-compliant), which is better than many competitors. However, the data is not end-to-end encrypted — Clue (the company) can read it.
PinkyBond uses end-to-end encryption we cannot read. Data is encrypted on-device before leaving her phone. Our server stores only encrypted blobs. GDPR compliance is a legal minimum. End-to-end encryption is a technical guarantee.
