Privacy and encryption
In 2021 the FTC alleged that Flo Health had shared users’ health data with third parties including Facebook and Google without consent; that order carried no fine. A related class action settled in September 2025, with Flo paying $8 million of a $56 million total and Google $48 million. Flo denies wrongdoing. Flo for Partners shares data through these same servers.
Data is encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM before transmission. Our Convex server stores only encrypted blobs it cannot decrypt.
